At JADO Therapy, we’re committed to providing you with a holistic understanding of your child with any developmental and/or speech-language disorders. 
 

Hi, my name is Ella! I am licensed in California and certified with ASHA. I have worked with autistic children using the Greenspan DIR|Floortime approach since 2016. I am passionate about providing early intervention for families with a bilingual (i.e., Mandarin-English) language profile. I also specialize in diagnosing and treating children with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) and/or severe, complex speech sound disorders (SSD). I earned the ASHA ACE Award in 2019. Moreover, I am listed as a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) trained clinician, providing speech therapy particularly for gestalt language learners. My therapy focuses on your child's strengths and interests. With the appreciation for neurodiversity, I love to promote inclusivity and recognize the diverse ways each person navigates their speech-language competencies. Intervention highlights client empowerment, self-advocacy, and functional communication success rather than behavioral conformity.   

I grew up in Taiwan and have traveled 20+ countries around the world. I spend my free time cooking, writing, brewing coffee, photography, and doing medical missions.
